Pian degli Ontani

The locality situated in the valley of Sestaione surrounded by woods and meadows is famous thanks to Beatrice Bugelli poetess pastora we lived in the last century, also known under the name of Beatrice Pian of Ontani. In this area we find the Church of Saints Cyril and Mary, born as oratory as a document certifies the end of the seventeenth century, which was converted into a church in 1785 by the will of the Bishop Scipio de 'Ricci. The sacred structure consists of a simple facade intonacata hut, which was made in 1866 enlargement, with the construction of the bell tower.
